Moments Captured by hand
Humans have been telling stories through hand-placed pigments for millennia. It is enduring, special, and we feel so much by looking at art, especially art that reflects your experience.
Hiring a Live Event Artist elevates the event itself and enhances memories in a way photos alone cannot match.
How it Works
Matt will bring supplies to your event and move around the venue capturing interesting scenes for as long as you like. Be as involved as you want to be. If you want particular subjects captured, you can make requests. If you like surprises, Matt will sketch anything inspiring – individuals, food, decorations, activities, or whatever is eye-catching.
Typically, the live paintings are made in 20 to 30-minute intervals. For example, a 4-hour event can yield an entire booklet of art. If you so choose, refined paintings may be commissioned based on any of the live works.
At the end of the session, Matt will exhibit the artwork then take it home for final preparation. Afterwards, you will receive the drawings contained in a personalized, archival book. If you want to frame the pieces, they can be easily removed and hung on the wall. In addition, you will receive digital scans of the sketches if you wanted to enlarge and print or reproduce in other ways.*
Pricing
Packages:
- Basic: 2-hour session, 4-6 small paintings – $500
- Standard: 4-hour session, 8-10 small paintings – $1000
- Premium: 6-hour session, 10 small paintings + one 16″x20″ (XL) painting of your favorite piece- $2000
Size Details
- Small size fits 8″x10″ frames.
- Large sizes (up to 11″x14″) can be requested ahead of time. A large would equal 2 smalls in the pricing package of your choice.
- “Extra Large” and higher quality paintings based on smaller works can be requested after the event. The example size of 16″x20″ would cost $960 ($3 per square inch).**
Travel:
Anywhere within a 15-mile radius of Easley, SC is included in the pricing.
- Local Area includes Greenville, Travelers Rest, Pickens, Central, Powdersville, etc.
- Extra $2 per mile will be charged round-trip beyond this area.***
- Maximum travel distance is 60 miles.
